Relax on the terrace, complete with a BBQ grill for alfresco dining amidst Maremma’s serene landscapes. The private garden offers sun loungers and a pergola-covered dining table, inviting you to savor the fresh air and picturesque surroundings.

Luxury and privacyLavender cottage offers you luxury and privacy and is perfect for a couple, a weekend getaway, or a working retreat. The cottage is close to the main house but is set in its own garden which is surrounded by lavender bushes and roses, acacia and olive trees giving you privacy and your own space, surrounded by nature.
There is also a lawn for relaxing and a table and chairs under the Wisteria covered gazebo’s shade, giving you the opportunity to eat outside. You can also choose to relax and take in some sun on your lawn on the sun lounger’s.
From Lavender cottage’s garden you have views towards the Maremma coastline, across the olive groves and vineyards of the rolling Tuscan hills of Mandorlaie.
With the Cottage internal and external amenities the cottage is perfect for both short or longer stays, giving you the chance to use the area of Mandorlaie as your base to explore Maremma whether you arrive by walking, car, bicycle or motorcycle.
The layout of the cottage has been created to maximise space and light, and the main room consists of a lounge and bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom and separate kitchen leading to the terrace and garden.

The building that has now become our luxurious cottage was once an outbuilding used as the olive oil press and oil storage. The footprint size is just over 65 square metres, and there is then the external patio and surrounding lawn and gardens.
The interior has been upgraded and all windows and doors replaced to ensure the cottage is as energy efficient as possible for both heating in winter, and cooling in summer.
The cottage is surrounded by flowers and plants, and in the cottage garden there are several location’s to relax under the trees or under the shade of the gazebo where you find lounge chairs and a dining table and chairs to enjoy lunches or an evening dinner as the sun sets over the countryside of Maremma.
From Lavender cottage’s garden you have views towards the Maremma coastline where you can visit small coastal village, or bath in the cealr blue waters of the protected blue flag beaches, you also see across the olive groves and vineyards of the valley of Mandorlaie.
We think that with its self reliant configuration, the cottage is perfect for both short or longer stays, giving you the chance to use the area of Mandorlaie as your base to explore Maremma, its hilltop villages, Etruscan sites and vineyards.
The layout of the cottage has been created to maximise space and light, and the main room consists of a lounge and bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom and separate kitchen leading to the terrace and garden.
The amenities include a kitchen with fridge/freezer, hob, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. On the terrace there is also a gas bbq giving you the opportunity to create amazing food if you wish and eat in your private dining area.
Relax in the poolThe swimming pool is also very close by, where you have views towards the sea near Porto Santo Stefano, and over the valleys towards Magliano in Toscana. With sun loungers and gazebos on the pool lawns you can relax in the shade or on the sun deck loungers next to the pool.
Our 8m x 4m pool construction was specifically made partially using ecologically grown wood from renewable forests, this decision was made in order to reduce the amount of concrete used.
Eventually we reduced the use of cement by over 80% compared to pools created using all cement construction thus reducing the pool construction carbon footprint. The pool pump and salt chlorination system are all powered by solar energy, or via excess solar energy stored in our battery system.
We are a pet friendly agriturismo, the cottage site not far away from the main house with a garden area of 30,000sq metres, this is surrounded with a 2 metre high fence, allowing your pet to run through the olive groves and enjoy outdoor space.
Just so you are aware, on the farm we have both cats and dogs that are also free to en joy the outdoor space.
