New vines are also good for the environment, absorbing carbon, creating shade and helping us maintain good soil. Right now everyone is doing as much as they can to reduce their carbon footprint and slow the global warming that is occurring.

How much does it cost us to plant and maintain a vineyard row in Tuscany?

We want to be open and transparent when it comes to what it takes for us to plant and maintain a new organic vineyard row in its first year of its life at Tenuta Le Mandorlaie, here is the breakdown of the cost;

• 100 new grape vines, organic and certified virus free €280
• Support poles and wires €330
• Labour for planting €160
• Watering, Pruning, grass cutting in the vineyard for the year €120
• Grape collection, processing and wine making €410
• Bottling, bottles, corks, top caps, labels, carton boxes €2 per bottle

So there we have it, the total cost is €2200 for the planting and management of the vineyard row in its first 3 years.

• 60 bottles are shipped to you per year, total over 5 years is 300 bottles
• The IGT wine supplied may not be from the vineyard row but is from our existing organic 80 year old vineyard
• Shipping of wine relating to the Vineyard Row 5 Year 300 bottle Package to your destination; customs clearance and any associated required local import sales taxes or import duties are at the cost of the recipient, contact us if you have a question regarding shipping
• Some countries may also also have specific import or customs duties, these costs are not included and may need to be paid before shipping commences, contact us if you have a question regarding import duties or customs costs
